Covenant Presbyterian Church is a Reformed and Presbyterian church serving Monterey, Carmel, Seaside, Pacific Grove, and the greater Monterey Bay area. We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the final authority for what we believe and how we live.

What the Bible teaches is accurately summarized in the historic Westminster Confession of Faith and the Westminster Larger and Shorter Catechisms. These documents do not replace Scripture, but help summarize the doctrines taught throughout the Bible.
What does it mean to be a reformed church?
Covenant Presbyterian Church stands in the historic Reformed tradition of the Christian faith. At the heart of Reformed Christianity is the conviction that God is sovereign in creation and salvation and that the Bible is our final authority for faith and life.
We believe that salvation is entirely a work of God's grace. We are saved not because of our own goodness or works, but through faith in Jesus Christ, who lived, died, and rose again for his people.
Our desire is to worship God faithfully, hear his Word preached, receive the sacraments, pray together, and grow as a community of believers in Christ.
