At Covenant Presbyterian Church, we believe children are an important part of the church. Families with babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and older children are welcome to worship with us each Sunday.

Every Lord’s Day, we invite every member of our church—including babies and toddlers—to participate in worship together.
At Covenant Presbyterian Church, we believe children are an important part of the church and are welcome to remain with their families throughout the worship service. We love seeing children grow up hearing God’s Word, singing with the congregation, praying alongside their parents, and learning the rhythms of Christian worship.
We also understand the practical needs of families with young children. Mothers may need a comfortable place to nurse, and sometimes toddlers simply need a place to move around.
For that reason, we provide a nursery during Sunday worship for families who would like to use it. Parents are welcome to check their children into the nursery during the service or keep them with them in worship.
If you’re looking for a family-friendly church in Monterey or a church in Monterey with a nursery, we would love to welcome your entire family to worship with us this Lord’s Day.

At Covenant Presbyterian Church, we understand that children are part of the worshiping community—and sometimes children make noise! Parents should not feel embarrassed or self-conscious if their baby cries, their toddler wiggles, or their child makes noise during the service.
Your children are welcome to worship the Lord with us.
If your child’s noise makes it difficult for you to participate in worship or listen to the sermon, you are welcome to step into the foyer, where you can continue to hear the sermon. Our nursery is also available during worship if you and your child would be more comfortable there.
But please don’t feel that you need to leave simply because your child makes noise. Babies and young children are a part of the life of the church, and we are glad to have them worshiping alongside us each Lord’s Day.
